Client Supprt & Empowerment

The Department of Client Support & Empowerment is responsible for designing, providing and evaluating an array of human services that THA provides. These services include the following:

  • Case management services- We provide services to help families succeed as tenants in our housing programs, to recover from homelessness, domestic violence or other trauma and to stabilize as families. Toward this end, we seek to provide holistic case management. We do so in partnership with a wide variety of service partners.
     
  • Programs to help families prosper- THA provides services to help families prosper. These include programs to help persons further their education, find employment or increase their earnings; home-ownership programs, Individual Development Accounts that match a family's savings, driver's license reinstatement programs, citizenship classes and English instruction.

THA seeks to provide its services near its customers. In many cases, its services are within walking distance. It can do this because THA has its own classrooms and community spaces within its properties.
